Raise funds for Abida's community
Abida's community now has enough safe water, but not enough food to last all
year round. An education for every child is still not a reality. Read the
Give basics give life brochure for more information on how you can
change this. Set a fundraising target and plan how to raise your funds with
these 'Splash out' fundraising ideas.

Do the 40 Hour Famine
The 40 Hour Famine happens every year in March. Participants go without food, or
something else they rely on, for 20 to 40 hours. They raise funds for children
in need, like Abida. Your school may already take part, or you can sign up with
a group or on your own. Visit the
40 Hour Famine website for more details.
Sponsor a child in a water-stressed community
The changes in Abida's community came about through the generous donations of
World Vision sponsors. You, a group of friends or your class, can make a
difference for a child, like Abida, and their community. Become a child sponsor
in a water-stressed country, like Niger and Mali. More details on how to
sponsor a child.
